Pre- writing and early writing exercices are important for pre-schoolers, but also for schoolchildren who have difficulties learning how to write. These exercices train visual and spatial perception, attention, hand-eye coordination. Children learn to hold a pen correctly and practise the different movements that are important for writing: spirals, waves, lines, curves, ellipses, quadrilaterals. The lay-out of the worksheets is very simple so children can concentrate on the task. Children can do the exercices with their fingers, crayons, pencils, markers, and so on. The more the better. Your child does not like doing these kinds of exercices? Then laminate the pages and use a non-permanent marker. That's like magic for the kids. DOWNLOAD THE WORKSHEETS.
